My goal in creating instalment plans for the doula training is for it to be as financially accessible as possible. At the same time, in order to sustainably be able to continue providing instalment plans, which require significantly more work on my end, I need folks using them to agree to clear expectations. The terms and conditions are here to maintain transparency, accessibility and fairness for both of us. Thank you for your understanding and accountability.
Rainbow Doula Training – Payment Agreement (6 or 12 Month Instalment Plan)
By subscribing to the 6 or 12 month instalment plan for the Rainbow Doula Training, you agree to the following terms:
1. Nature of the Agreement
The Rainbow Doula Training is a fixed-price educational program. The 6 or 12 month payment plan is an instalment arrangement for the total program fee, not a monthly subscription that can be cancelled without obligation.
A substantial and core part of the training is delivered during the initial in-person training period. By the time this portion has been completed, a significant part of the program’s value has already been provided.
2. Full Payment Obligation
By enrolling, you commit to paying the full program fee in 6 or 12 monthly instalments. This obligation remains in place regardless of your level of participation, including if you choose to withdraw from the program after it has begun.
3. Withdrawal and Refunds
If you choose to withdraw from the program, this does not cancel your obligation to complete the remaining instalment payments.
Refunds are generally not provided once the program has begun, particularly after participation in the in-person training component, as substantial services have already been delivered.
Nothing in this agreement limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Missed or Delayed Payments
Payments must be made on time each month. If payments are missed or delayed, the following may apply:
* Temporary suspension of access to ongoing instruction, course materials, or support
* Delay or withholding of certification until the full balance has been paid
Continued non-payment may result in further action as permitted by law.
5. Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your payments are successfully processed each month. This includes maintaining valid payment details and monitoring your payment schedule.
6. Communication
If you experience any difficulty with payments, you agree to communicate as early as possible using the contact details below. Timely communication allows for consideration of possible solutions where appropriate.
